Personally? I feel like guns are the issue. Many counterclaims suggest that “guns don’t kill people, people kill people,” but if a person had a rock as a weapon, people would possibly get injured and slim to none would get killed. One of the laws they need to pass if they don’t decide on banning guns are raising the age to buy firearms from 18 to at least 25. As for the schools, they should hire able and mentally stable veterans to guard the doors and classrooms. They should also install a metal detector in all doors and windows. This would keep intruders out and stop kids from bringing weapons into the school. The reason you don’t hear about shootings or stabbings in somewhere like the Raven’s stadium, is because they have guards to check your bags. It’s a time consuming process but it’s a lot safer. Children are willing to go to extreme measures to hurt other people, why can’t we go to extreme measures to stop it? And don’t get me started on Trump. First of all, he has shown no remorse. Congress see the protests that people are conducting and they’re still not willing to do something about the NRA. This needs to end. How many more of our children need to be brutally murdered for us to realize the real issue? GUNS.
